The free small business toolkit
Everything a new business needs to go from a first quote to getting paid and reviewed, in order. Every tool is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser.
Look professional from the first email
A clear signature with your name, number and website makes every email look like it comes from a real business, and it takes two minutes.
Price your work properly
Work out what to charge so there's profit left after costs. If you're registered for GST, check what the price comes to with tax added.
Send a quote before you start
A written quote with a valid-until date avoids arguments about price later, and it turns straight into an invoice once the customer says yes.
Bill the customer
Use a simple invoice if you're not registered for GST. Registration is needed once turnover crosses ₹20 lakh for services or ₹40 lakh for goods in most states (lower in a few), and some businesses must register whatever their turnover, such as most that sell goods to other states.
Get paid faster
Add your UPI ID to the invoice and it gets a scan-to-pay QR code with the exact amount filled in. When the money arrives, send a receipt so both of you have a record.
Pay your team
Give every employee a payslip each month. They need them for loans, rentals and visas, and they show you run things properly.
Get found and get reviews
A printed QR card at the counter is the easiest way to turn happy customers into Google reviews. Add QR codes for your menu, website or Wi-Fi while you're at it.
Keep your paperwork tidy
Banks, accountants and government portals all want documents as PDFs under a size limit. Combine, shrink and convert them without uploading anything.
Plan a loan before you take it
Thinking about a business or vehicle loan? See the monthly EMI and the total interest first, and how much a shorter tenure saves.
Get found on Google
Most customers search before they buy. A few simple steps make your business show up for searches in your area.
Rules like GST registration limits change from time to time and depend on your state and business. For decisions about your own business, check with a CA or GST practitioner.
