Where to put your review card

Put it where customers pause at the end of a good experience: by the till, on café and restaurant tables, at a salon or clinic reception, in delivery bags and packaging, or on the door. You can also add the PNG to receipts, invoices, menus and your email signature.

Getting more reviews, within Google's rules

The best time to ask is right after something went well, and in person: “If you enjoyed it, a Google review really helps us.” Google doesn't allow rewards for reviews, and it discourages asking only the customers you expect to be happy, so ask everyone and keep it simple. Reply to reviews, good and bad. Other customers read the replies too.

Questions

How do I make a QR code for Google reviews?
Copy the review link from your Google Business Profile (look for Ask for reviews or Get more reviews), paste it into the generator, add your business name, and download the printable PDF or the QR code on its own.
Is it really free?
Yes. The QR code, the printable cards and the large sign are all free, with no watermark and no account.
Will the QR code stop working?
No. The link is stored inside the code itself, so it keeps working as long as your Business Profile exists. Nothing depends on our website staying online.
What's a Place ID, and when should I use it?
A Place ID is the code Google Maps uses for your business. If you can't find your review link, look up your business in Google's Place ID Finder, copy the ID and choose Place ID in the generator. It builds the review link for you.
Can I offer a discount in exchange for a review?
No. Google's review policies don't allow offering money, discounts or gifts for reviews, and reviews like that can be removed. Just ask, at a moment when the customer is happy.
How big should I print it?
At least 2 to 3 cm across so phones can read it from arm's length. The four-per-page cards (A6) suit counters and tables, and the large sign works on a door or window.
